A Day at Health Matters: Department of Urology Engages with Community

This year, for the first time ever, the Department of Urology hosted a table at the annual Stanford Medicine Health Matters event- a free health event hosted by Stanford Medicine, to foster advancements in health, medicine, and wellness within the community.

The Department of Urology was represented by our Clinical Assistant Professor, Dr. Tony Chen, and three of our outstanding Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs), Satvir Basran, Sophia Prendiville, and Rachelle Balili. They spent their day engaging with the local community, discussing key topics such as prostate cancer screening and the department’s ongoing clinical trials.

The event not only allowed us to share some of our active clinical trials, but it also gave us the chance to have some insightful discussions with the community members present.

This opportunity to interact directly with the local community brought us closer to the people we're dedicated to serving as we look forward to participating in such enriching events in the future.

For those interested in our active or upcoming clinical trials, we have made it simple: just follow the link below to express your interest by filling out a form.
